Mossi Traoré's Spring/Summer 2026 collection, titled Mon Amie La Mort ("My Friend, Death"), was presented during Paris Fashion Week on September 29, 2025. Drawing inspiration from Père-Lachaise Cemetery, Traoré envisioned a woman living amidst its tombs, finding beauty in solitude and memory. The show, held in a minimalist venue on Rue Commines, featured sculptural yet ethereal designs that blended haute couture techniques with everyday wearability.
The collection showcased inventive draping and pleating, with garments in a muted palette of whites, grays, dusty rose, and black. Translucent organza and sculpted silhouettes evoked both mourning and rebirth, reflecting Traoré's belief that themes of death can inspire life-affirming creativity. Through this collection, he reaffirmed his commitment to integrating personal narrative with fashion, creating pieces that are both artistic and accessible.
